Of things that are to come and we are sure
Our faith is certain though we are sightless
Of what is, what will be, what we hope for . . .

You found me when I was so lost my heart was lonely
Just a wayward wandering soul that went astray
Running turning round each corner never seeking
Never righteous, always going my own way

Reveal the purpose for this journey we have taken
In You we trust, our wills contend the very day
Holy Lord You know our every thought and weakness
You gave Yourself, You give us hope to find our way

It is the reason that You came Lord just to find us
The pursuit of souls to make them all Your own
From where I stand God I’m unworthy of Your measure
Search me oh God within my heart please find a home

Not just another day oh Spirit find me longing . . .
Never an afterthought You’ve brought me through the scars . . .
May all my actions tell the meaning of Your mercy . . .
As I wake up and I remember Who You Are . . .
