EVER PRESENT Holy Spirit, before me You always go
Lead me on into forever, never leaving me alone

Often blinded by this world I long to sense Your presence here

Standing firm upon The Word, with open heart oh Spirit come

Let Your Light shine on our souls, granting the mercy we desire
At this point of desperation, helpless hopeless, Spirit stay
Walking by faith we cannot see, open the way

The waiting hour is over it’s a matter of Your will
Complete dependence and surrender, we must listen and be still
Empty all that is within us, we are lost apart from You
The constant battle rages on, show us the Truth
